Information for New Students of SDJU (2023)
International students must take the original passport, admission notice and other required documents, such as original diploma and/or degree, to register at International Education School (IES) within the time prescribed by the university. If any student is unable to register on time for any reason, it is required to explain the reasons to IES. Any student failing to register on time with no prior instructions will be regarded as automatically quit and his/her offer as well as accommodation reservation will be cancelled.
On arriving at the university, students shall do the following under the guidance from IES:
1. In accordance with the provisions, do the health checkup and obtain a health report from Shanghai International Travel Health Care Center

2. Within 24 hours after international students move in, the Registration Form of Temporary Residence must be obtained either online or at local police station:

Local Police Station:
(1) International students who live on campus must bring the living certification issued by respective secondary school, passport, photocopy of the passport photo page, photocopy of the visa page and photocopy of the entry stamp page, and go to the police station near the university to register for temporary accommodation and obtainthe Registration Form of Temporary Residence. (Students from Lin Gang Campus, please go to Lin Gang Police Station: No.565, Huanhu Xisan Rd.)
(2) International students who live off campus must bring the, passport, photocopy of the passport photo page, photocopy of the visa page and photocopy of the entry stamp page, and copy of the Rental Contract,and go to the police station near the university to register for temporary accommodation and obtain Registration Form of Temporary Residence
3. Within the prescribed time, international students must take relevant documents in person to Shanghai Exit and Entry Administration (No.1500, Minsheng Rd., Pudong District, Shanghai) or its branch in Lin’gang New Area (Building 1, No.158 Zishan Rd., Lin’gang New Area, Shanghai) to apply for Residence Permit.

(2) Copy of “Registration Form of Temporary Residence” issued by Local Police Station
(3) Passport and valid visa
(4) Health Report
(5) Copy of your Transfer Letter from your former Chinese schools
(6) Copy of Admission Notice
(7) “Visa Application for Study in China (JW202)” (the 3rd page)
(8)SDJU Letter of Visa Application
(9)One photo (passport size)
4. Participate in the freshman orientation organized by the university, learn about university`s relevant rules and regulations as well as related laws and regulations of China.

上海电机学院国际学生报到须知（2023年）
国际学生须持本人护照原件、《录取通知书》原件、以及其他必要材料（毕业证书原件、学位证书原件等），按照学校规定的时间到国际教育交流中心报到。如不能按时到校，须提前向国际教育交流中心说明理由。事先不说明又逾期不到校的国际学生，将被视作自动退学，并取消其学籍及宿舍预定。
国际学生到校后，须在国际教育交流中心指导下办理以下注册手续：
1、按规定参加上海国际旅行卫生保健中心的体检并获取体检报告。

2、国际学生在搬入居住地后24小时内，必须进行网上登记或去属地派出所办理境外人员临时住宿登记手续：

属地派出所:
（1）居住在学校宿舍的国际学生须持：二级学院开具的证明、护照原件以及护照照片页复印件、签证页复印件、入境章页复印件等，至学校属地派出所（临港校区请至临港派出所：上海市浦东新区环湖西三路565号）办理境外人员临时住宿登记手续，并获取《境外人员临时住宿登记单》。
（2）居住在校外的国际学生须持：护照原件以及护照照片页复印件、签证页复印件、入境章页复印件以及《租房合同》复印件等，至租住地派出所办理境外人员临时住宿登记手续，并获取《境外人员临时住宿登记表》。
3、在规定的时间内，由学生本人持相关材料至上海市公安局出入境管理局（上海市浦东新区民生路1500号）或浦东公安分局出入境接待大厅（临港）（浦东新区南汇新城紫杉路158弄1号楼一楼）办理学习类居留许可申请。

（5） 转学证明复印件（由上一所中国学校出具）
